Below is the simple, day-by-day plan for the Char Dham Yatra Package from Delhi. We have planned this itinerary with your comfort and pace in mind so that every part of your journey is safe, fun, and full of meaning.
We welcome you to the Char Dham Yatra with the SahuTrip.com Team. Upon your arrival at the Delhi Railway Station or Airport, our representative will meet you and help you with your transfer. You will then travel through a comfortable vehicle to Haridwar. After checking in to your hotel, you will join the evening Ganga Aart at Har Ki Pauri —a beautiful prayer ceremony on the banks of river Ganga which sets the mood for your journey ahead. Stay overnight at a booked hotel in Haridwar.
After a fresh start and breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour in Haridwar. You will visit the key attractions such as Har Ki Pauri, Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple. After having your lunch, continue your journey toward the Barkot, passing through Dehradun and Mussoorie. En-route, enjoy your visit to Kempty Falls and the beautiful views of the Himalayas. Arrive in Barkot for an overnight stay.
Today, you will be transferred to Jankichatti, the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri. On arrival, leave your vehicle and begin the 6 Km trek up to Yamunotri. You may choose to walk or use a pony/doli service at your own cost. Once you reached at Yamunotri, visit local shops to purchase Prasad (holy offering) and take a holy dip in either the natural hot water spring or the icy cold Yamuna River. You may also experience the unique tradition of cooking rice in the “Surya Kund” (hot water spring) and take it home as Prasadam. Offer your prayers at the mythological “Divya Shila” and receive the blessings of Maa Yamuna. After the visit, trek back to Jankichatti, where your driver will transfer you back to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Depart early in the morning from Barkot and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. Later, visit the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.
Start your day early with a drive to Gangotri Dham, enjoying the scenic view along the banks of the Bhagirathi River. At Gangotri Dham, take a holy dip in the icy cold water of the river Ganga and perform the necessary prayers and rites. You will then proceed for Maa Ganga Darshan as well as shrines of Lord Shiva, Hanuman Ji, Vinayaka, and Bhagirath Maharaj. In the evening, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
After checking out from your Uttarkashi hotel early in the morning, drive to Guptkashi/Phata. On arrival, check in at your hotel and complete the registration process required for visiting Kedarnath. Overnight stay at the hotel in Guptkashi/Phata.
Today, check out early and drive to Gaurikund/Phata—the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath Dham. From here, begin your trek to the Kedarnath Temple either on foot or by opting for a helicopter/doli/pony service at your own cost. Be sure to carry your personal medicines, warm woolens, and extra clothes. After performing the prayers and taking darshan (sight) of Shri Kedarnath, return to Guptkashi/Phata. Overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast and check-out from your hotel in Phata, drive to Badrinath. On the way, you will visit significant stops such as Karanprayag, Nandprayag, Vishnu Prayag, and Joshimath (home to Narshimha Temple). Upon arrival in Badrinath, check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple to complete your day. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Begin your day with a refreshing dip in Taptkund, followed by a visit to the temple. Walk through the colorful entrance of the temple compound and enjoy the darshan of Badrivishal along with shrines of Ganesh, Kubera, Garuda, Narada, Udhhav, Nar, and Narayan. Also, explore smaller temples within the complex, including those of Laxmimata, Nar-Narayana, Hanuman, Ghantakarn, and Kaamdhenu. You may also receive ‘Charnamirt’ (holy water for bathing) inside the compound. The area known as Brahamakapal is important for performing rites (Pinddam Shraddh) for ancestors. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, depart from Srinagar and drive towards Haridwar. On the way, visit Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers meet, and enjoy views of local temples along the route. Arrive in Haridwar and check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
